I randomly stopped by this food hall for a quick lunch bite. I ordered one of their $10USD/$15CAD lunch ramen specials. Honestly, it was okay (6.5/10). Service was great but I’d try something next time - like the giza or baos.

I visited Shimuja in Downtown Miami, and honestly, the food was fantastic. Great portions, super tasty, and the price was pretty reasonable. I’d absolutely go back for the food alone. The one downside? Customer service is a zero out of ten. The way they treat customers is awful. If they fix that, it’d be top-notch.

I tried Shimuja Ramen inside the Henry and Julia food hall, and overall it was just an okay experience. This spot used to be better shortly after opening, but the food hall feels pretty dead now and honestly, that doesn’t come as a surprise. The prices are excessively high for what you get. Quality is alright but nothing standout, and portions are on the smaller side, which makes the value feel even more off. It’s not terrible, but it’s also not somewhere I’d go out of my way for anymore. Next time I’m in the mood for ramen, I’ll likely consider other options nearby.

This was amazing shoyu ramen! Everything was perfect from the egg, the pork, the noodles, the broth. It was ready in just minutes. And it was a very healthy amount without being too much. It’s located in the food hall so plenty of places to sit down and enjoy!

I had the spicy Kagoshima Ramen and it wasn’t spicy at all. The soup itself was delicious but was hoping it would’ve lived up to the name. Ambiance was cool. Awesome music playing for some entertainment. Lots of different venues to choose from for different palettes. Rices were reasonable. We went during a Monday night at 8pm so it wasn’t too crowded. Seatings are at a premium if you’re going during peak hours. Cleanliness was good. Overall it’s a good food court to check out when you’re in Miami.
